TLOM shoots at Lens Story Studio, a multi-set studio in Kondapur, Hyderabad, with 15 customisable sets and studio lighting. Work that needs a controlled set is shot here. Work that needs a location is shot on site.

I founded The Lens of Maharana and lead its photography. I have been shooting for more than five years.
My work is video and reels, commercial photography, and fashion and jewellery. Every project starts the same way. I plan before I shoot. The brief, the references and the shot list are agreed first.
The shoot happens at Lens Story Studio, my own studio in Kondapur, Hyderabad. I control the lighting, so the look holds from the first frame to the last.
The brief, the light and the direction come from one person.
Kartik Maharana plans the shoot, controls the lighting and directs the model, frame by frame. The image is made on set, before the edit.
